Adding a TCP is optional but recommended as an additional layer of account protection.
A TCP may help:
Confirm or update contact information if you cannot be reached
Assist in situations involving suspected fraud, financial exploitation, or concerns related to diminished capacity
Support account protection efforts in cases of unusual or suspicious activity
Important Information
A Trusted Contact Person:
Does not have authority to access, manage, or transact on your account
Is not a joint account holder, power of attorney, or authorized trader
Serves only as a point of contact for account protection purposes
