Before withdrawing funds, a bank account must be linked and verified.
Bank verification is completed through Plaid for account ownership confirmation purposes only. Plaid does not process or transfer funds. Once your bank account has been verified, withdrawals are processed by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly to your linked bank account.
Withdrawals can only be sent to a verified bank account where you are listed as either:
The primary account holder
A joint account holder
This requirement helps protect against fraud and unauthorized transfers.
Funds Available for Withdrawal
Funds associated with the following activities are not available for withdrawal:
Pending orders
Unsettled trades
Pending withdrawals
After selling a security, sale proceeds may be immediately available for reinvestment. However, the funds cannot be withdrawn until the trade settlement process is complete.
Settlement Period
Following the sale of a security, proceeds must complete the settlement process before becoming eligible for withdrawal.
